Doctor Barbara

Doctor Barbara Milne is a well respected GP and the daughter of one of Hyndburn's unsung heroes, photographer Garth Dawson. Barbara has agreed to do a regular column for us and starts off with a very informative piece on the Art of the Highlands. A talented artist in her own right, she explores some of the most iconic paintings in that region.

Olive Riley

Olive is deputy chairman and Competitions Secretary of Lancashire Authors’ Association. and has published many anthologies, mostly for charity. A Talented poet, and part-time actor, she lives with husband Brian in Hesketh Bank.
